HIV INFECTIONS-CONTROL AND PREVENTION

1.Reduced Stress
Stress definitely weakens the immune system. It leads to the body to fell ill very easily and opens the way of getting infected by opportunistic diseases.

3.Usage of Condoms
This will prevent the infection to be transmitted to others.
4. Stop Smoking
Smoking by the HIV patient will increase the risks of getting infected by candidiasis and pneumonia. Also, smoking can increase the possibility of cancers and heart diseases very easily to HIV patients. There are high possibilities for lung diseases such as Congestive and Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD)
5.Regular Exercises
Regular exercises by the HIV patient are said to improve his energy conditions, prevent heart diseases, improve lung health and blood circulation.
Exercise improves better sleep and stress management.
6.Healthy Diet
Taking a well-balanced diet free from alcoholic drinks helps to increase the body's immune system and health.

There are other factors that influence the progression of the disease as follows:-
